CATO Client Download and Login
Download Client and Install
Download the client for your OS at Cato Downloads
For Mac OS, click on the MacOS tab first.
For Windows machines, you will need to have local admin permissions on your machine to install. If you do not have local admin, please reach out to HelpDesk so they can install it for you.
For Mac OS, you will need elevated privileges or root access. If you do not have either, you will need to contact Helpdesk for assistance installing the client.
Install
Windows Install
In your ‘Download’ folder, right click on the downloaded client(should be setup.exe) and choose to install as an administrator. On Windows, you may need to right click while holding down the Shift key.
The install will start and the UAC window will pop up. Click on “Yes” to continue the install.
Click Next on the Setup Wizard page.
Checkmark the “I accept…” checkbox at the bottom of the “End user license agreement” page.
Click Next
Checkmark the “Create a desktop shortcut” box on the “Destination Folder” page.
Click Next
On the “Ready to Install Cato Client” page, click on the Install button at the bottom.
The Cato client will install.
Once completed, click on the Finish button at the bottom.
Mac OS Install

Login
· Click the Cato Client icon on your desktop or taskbar. (Fig. 1)
· The Cato Client window will pop up.
· Click on the “Power” icon to connect to the Cato Network (In the red focus area in Fig.2).
· The login screen will display. (Fig. 3)
· Enter your corporate login (aka windows login).
· Click Continue.
*** Note: It may not ask for anything further and continue to connect you to the Cato network.
· The screen to join the network will appear. (Fig. 4)
· Enter creditcom into the “Subdomain” field.
· Click Continue.
· The Microsoft “Sign in” window appears. (Fig. 5)
· Enter your corporate login again (aka windows login).
o I.E. John.Doe@credit.com
· Click Next.
· The “Password” window appears. (Fig. 6)
· Enter your password for your corporate login.
· Click Sign in.
· The Microsoft MFA page appears. (Fig. 7)
Enter the code into your Microsoft or other authenticator on your phone.
· Once authenticated, the Microsoft “Stay signed in?” screen appears. (Fig. 8 )
· Click Yes
· The Cato application should now show the following process:
Authenticating
Connected
· And the power icon should turn green.
Once Connected test your network access to the internet as well as internal resources.
You can minimize the CATO window by clicking on the minimize button on the top, right corner of the CATO window. (Fig 11)
